Sarana Jaya Builds MCK in Bantar Gebang Landfill Area

Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya through Corporate Social Resposibility (CSR) program built water sanitation and hygiene practices (MCK) at Bantar Gebang Landfill (TPA), Bekasi, West Java. Sarana Jaya provided building materials such as cement, pipes, tiles, and wall paint.

Currently, it is still under construction

Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya Administration and Finance Director, Bima P. Santosa mentioned, it is done to achieve one of six points of sustainable development goals (SDGs), that is clean water and sanitation.

"Sarana Jaya is a member of Indonesian Global Compact Network which committed to realize SDGs. Its implementation is similar to do business activities, including CSR activity," he explained, Monday (11/9).

100 MCKs in Jakarta will Be Fixed Soon

Sumur Batu Urban Village RW 01 Head, Kiman Sumarwan conveyed his gratitude to Sarana Jaya for its assistance in helping residents to build water sanitation and hygiene practices (MCK) in the region.

"Currently, it is still under construction. But we hope MCK construction can be finished soon with this assistance," he said.

He hopes other cleaning facilities can also be built in his region.

"Hopefully with MCK, people can implement a healthy and clean lifestyle," he closed.
